Japan Airlines (JAL) has developed two JAL original fragrances called JAL Original Aroma and will progressively roll them out to its lounges across Japan from September 20 2013. The JAL Original Aroma oils are blended by fragrance and spatial rendition expert Ms. Midori Magishima and professional aroma oil blender Ms. Chihiro Murai from Promotool.
JAL has prepared 2 different aroma oils to be used during different time of the day. Both of them were developed based on JAL's products and services principle of "tradition", "innovation", and "the heart of Japan".
In the morning, you will be able to enjoy the gentle and refreshing aroma oil made from ingredients such as Japanese cypress from Nagano Prefecture, Hinoki leaf from Aomori Prefecture, pine needle from Hokkaido Prefecture and Gifu Prefecture and sandalwood.
In the evening, JAL will switch to the luxury fragrance with sophisticated richness made from ingredients such as Yuzu from Kochi Prefecture, Hinoki leaf from Aomori Prefecture, rosewood, lavender and vetiver.

- International Lounge: JAL First Class Lounge and SAKURA Lounge
- Domestic Lounge: Diamond Premier Lounge and SAKURA Lounge
- Tokyo Narita
- International Lounge: JAL First Class Lounge and SAKURA Lounge
- Domestic Lounge: Diamond Premier Lounge and SAKURA Lounge
- Sapporo New Chitose
- Domestic Lounge: SAKURA Lounge
- Osaka Kansai
- International Lounge: SAKURA Lounge
- Domestic Lounge: SAKURA Lounge
