Japan Airlines (JAL) has been serving domestically produced cheese in its First Class and Business Class on select flights departing from Japan since March 2012. JAL has just announced the fall and winter cheese line-ups. For First Class, these cheeses will be available on flights form Tokyo Narita to Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, London, Frankfurt, Paris and Jakarta. For Business Class, these cheeses will be available on flights from Tokyo Narita to Los Angeles, San Diego, Vancouver, Chicago, Boston, New York, Honolulu, London, Frankfurt, Paris, Moscow, Helsinki, Sydney, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Delhi, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Bangkok, as well as flights from Tokyo Haneda to San Francisco and Paris. And only 2 types of cheese will be served on flights from Tokyo Narita to Honolulu, from Osaka Kansai to Bangkok and Honolulu, and from Nagoya Chubu to Honolulu.
First Class Fall Menu
The following cheeses will be served in First Class between September 1 and November 30 2013.- Wakakusa (green grass) Camembert, a bloomy rind cheese produced by Tokachino Fromage from Tokachi, Hokkaido
- Sakagura, a washed-rind cheese produced by Kyodogakusha Shintoku Farm from Tokachi, Hokkaido
- Kimagure Blue, a blue cheese produced by Sarabetsu Cheese Kobo from Tokachi, Hokkaido
- Tsurui Gold Label, a firm cheese produced by Rakurakukan from Kushiro, Hokkaido
- Chausudake, a goat cheese produced by Ima Farm from Tochigi

The following cheeses will be served in First Class between December 1 2013 and February 28 2014.
- Brie de Tokachi, a bloomy rind cheese produced by Tokachino Fromage from Tokachi, Hokkaido
- Sakebitashi, a washed-rind cheese produced by Fromage KOMAGATA from Chiba
- Kobuchizawa Blue, a blue cheese produced by Kobuchizawa Cheese Kobo from Yamanashi
- Hakodate Maribo, a firm cheese produced by Hakodate Milk from Hakodate, Hokkaido
- Serendipity, a goat cheese produced by Kaze no tani farm Hakuba from Nagano
Business Class Fall Menu

The following cheeses will be served in Business Class between September 1 and November 30 2013.
- Oishii Camembert, a bloomy rind cheese produced by Tokachino Fromage from Tokachi, Hokkaido
- Gouda, a firm cheese produced by North Plain Farm from Okoppe, Hokkaido
- Hayakita Blue, a blue cheese produced by Muminsha from Iburi, Hokkaido
Business Class Winter Menu

The following cheeses will be served in Business Class between December 1 2013 and February 28 2014.
- YUKI (Snow), a bloomy rind cheese produced by Kyodogakusha Shintoku from Tokachi, Hokkaido
- Gouda, a firm cheese produced by North Plain Farm from Okoppe, Hokkaido
- Miso Camembert produced by Tokachino Fromage from Tokachi, Hokkaido
