Couple of days ago, I noticed that Japan Airlines (JAL) has updated its website to include a more specific rollout schedule of the SKY SUITE 777 (SS7), the brand new international long-haul products JAL currently uses on the Tokyo Narita - London Heathrow route. It listed the months which JAL SKY SUITE, the new business class seat, will be rolled out to the New York JFK, Paris CDG, Los Angeles, and Chicago routes on the Japanese version of the JAL SKY SUITE seat details page. But then the info has since then be removed from the page. So is this a leaked schedule or the schedule has changed?

Japan Airlines (JAL) once again was recognized as the most on-time major international carrier in 2012. Its subsidiary J-AIR was also recognized as the most on-time regional carrier in Asia in 2012 by independent aviation performance tracking company FlightStats.

Japan Airlines (JAL) announced today it is going to collaborate with MOS Burger once again in the next dish of the popular AIR SERIES. For a limited time, JAL will serve a teriyaki burger with egg from MOS Burger as the second meal on select long-haul flights departing from Tokyo.

As you might have heard, Japan Airlines (JAL) has been flying its brand new long-haul products in all classes on Boeing 777-300ER, dubbed SKY SUITE 777 (SS7), on its flights between Tokyo Narita (NRT) and London Heathrow (LHR) for almost a month now. SS7 has been used on the LHR route since January 9 2013 on alternate days and will turn into daily service from February 26 2013. For those of us who aren't lucky enough to see the new SS7 cabins in person, JAL has launched a new virtual tour of SS7. So you can finally check out all four cabins yourself virtually here :P And surprisingly JAL has both Japanese and English version ready on day 1 this time :D

Japan Airlines (JAL) will update the mileage accumulation rates on British Airways (BA) flights from April 1 2013. The changes extends the upcoming JAL Mileage Bank (JMB) changes to award passengers with higher booking classes and penalize discounted travelers and the American Airlines accumulation rate change announced earlier.
