Japan Airlines San Francisco - Tokyo Haneda 1st anniversary commemorative gifts

Time flies and it has been a year since Japan Airlines (JAL) resumed their first international route: Tokyo Haneda (HND) -San Francisco (SFO). To celebrate its 1st anniversary, JAL has launched a special campaign just for the passengers who fly on the SFO route (JL001/002). Passengers in business and premium economy classes will receive a JAL Original Leather Luggage Tag made by TUMI and those in economy class will receive a JAL original keyholder as shown in the picture above! Excited? Here's how you get these special gifts.
In order to qualify for this campaign, you have to fly on JL001 during the campaign period and complete your roundtrip by flying JL002 before the application period ends! Your ticket must be purchased from the American region and issued under JAL stock with a ticket number that starts with 131 (i.e. no AA5815/5816, no AA redemption ticket, etc). Industry discount fares are excluded in this campaign. And to receive the gift, you need an American region mailing address too. Below are more details.

November 1, 2011 - January 31, 2012 (Must complete JL002 before application period ends)


Eligible Customers
Customers who completed a San Francisco - Tokyo Haneda roundtrip (JL001/002) on eligible ticket within the specified period


Eligible Ticket
Tickets must be purchased in the American Region and issued by JAL under their own stock with 131 ticket number. Industry discount fares are excluded.

Send an email to campaign.ar@jal.com with and put "SFO-HND Commemorative Gift Campaign Application" as the subject. Inside the email, you need to include the following info (* are mandatory fields)

Although JAL didn't specify this has to be a ticket that starts from the US, I would assume they meant ex-US ticket as JL001 eligible period ends before JL002. But I guess it doesn't hurt to try if you happen to have a ticket issued in the US but are originated from Japan or Asia and satisfies all other requirements. Too bad I didn't route my flights through SFO and won't be qualified for this campaign :( Hopefully they will have something better when they celebrate the 60th anniversary of the LAX route in 2019 :o
