JAL temporarily reduce frequency and capacity on some routes due to the Tohoku Pacific Earthquake

Japan Airliens (JAL) has announced a temporary frequency and capacity reduction on some of the international routes (and 1 domestic route) as a result of the weak demand caused by the Tohoku Pacific Earthquake. Below is the list of changes

Frequency Reduction

Effective April 6-24 2011
NRT-HNL: 21 Weekly -> 14 Weekly. JL076/075 suspended

Effective April 6-27 2011
NRT-PEK: 14 Weekly -> 7 Weekly. JL863/864 suspended
NRT-PVG: 21 Weekly -> 14 Weekly. JL877/874 suspended
NRT-ICN: 14 Weekly -> 7 Weekly. JL951/950 suspended

Effective April 7-21 2011
KIX-GMP: 14 weekly -> 7 Weekly. JL973/972 suspended

Effective April 6-27 2011 on ex-Japan flights, and April 7-28 2011 on ex-overseas flights
NRT-HKG: 7 weekly -> 0 Weekly. JL735/736 suspended (HND-HKG remains 1 daily)
NRT-PUS: 14 weekly -> 7 Weekly. JL969/960 suspended
HND-GMP: 21 weekly -> 14 Weekly. JL095/090 suspended
NRT-TPE: 14 weekly -> 7 Weekly. JL809/802 suspended
KIX-TPE: 14 weekly -> 7 Weekly. JL815/814 suspended
NRT-KHH: 7 weekly -> 3 Weekly. JL811 on We, Sa, Su; JL812 on Mo, Th, Su

Aircraft Downsizing
NRT-GUM: 767-300ER -> 737-800 between April 8 and 26 2011 on JL941/942
NRT-NGO (domestic): 777-300ER -> 767-300ER between April 6 and 27 2011 on ex-NRT flights and between April 7 and 28 on ex-NGO flights. Flights affected are JL3087 and JL3082.
