Japan Airlines (JAL) has added an auto web check-in button to the bottom of the itinerary list. Still not sure how this will work but looks like you could fill out the info now and it will automatically check you in when the web check-in opens (need to wait for my December flight to find out the entire workflow).
JAL added auto web check-in function on its website. |
Also added is your date of birth, reposition the enlarged warning message/info about selecting exit row seat, and blue background on your flight info table when you try to select seats on your individual flights.

There are other tiny cosmetic changes including the button in the itinerary list (used to be just a link on boarding date now there's a select button).
All these changes are probably in preparation for the new print style boarding, i.e. fancy name for print your own boarding pass, that's going to roll out in 2 weeks.
And if anyone cares, the default location on the flight status selections are now New York and Narita. It used to be Los Angeles and Narita but JAL changed it a week ago. A little inconvenient for me :P
