JAL and VN expands codeshare agreement

Japan Airlines (JAL) and Vietnam Airlines (VN) has reached an agreement to expand their existing code sharing deal to include Nagoya-Ho Chi Minh City and Narita-Hanoi from October 1 2010. Ticket sales will start on August 5 2010. JAL will also retime its Narita-Honai flight on the same day it starts codesharing with VN on this route. Below are the schedules.

Schedule: 11:30-15:05 on Mon and Fri
Aircraft: A321

Ho Chi Minh City - Nagoya JL5124/VN968
Schedule: 00:05-07:30 on Mon and Fri
Aircraft: A321

Narita - Honai JL5135/VN955
Schedule:
11: 00-14:30 on Tue, Thur, Sat, and Sun
12: 00-15:30 on Mon, Wed and Fri
Aircraft: A330

Flights are subject to government approval.

From October 1 2010, JAL will retime is Narita-Honai flights, JL751. It will be moved from a morning flight (departs at 11:35) to an evening one. This is probably due to the new codesharing agreement with VN. Notice VN's flights would depart at around the same time as JL's one without the change. Below is the new schedule.
