Japan Airlines has announced more capacity and frequency cuts for the remaining of the fiscal year. Narita-Sao Paulo and Narita-Pudong will see frequency reductions while Narita-Beijing, Haneda-Beijing, and Haneda-Hong Kong will be switched to smaller aircraft.
Frequency Reductions
NRT-GRU
- Reduce from 3 to 2 weekly flights between February 1 2010 and March 27 2010.
- Narita departures on Thursday and Sunday and Sao Paulo departures on Friday and Monday
NRT-PVG
- Reduce from 28 to 21 weekly flights between January 18 2010 and March 27 2010.
- JL619/610 suspended.
Capacity Reductions
HND-PEK
- 767-300ER to replace 777-200ER between January 18 2010 and March 27 2010.
NRT-PEK
- 737-800 to replace 767-300ER between January 18 2010 and March 27 2010.
HND-HKG
- 767-300ER to replace 777-200ER between January 18 2010 and March 27 2010 (HKG departures starting from January 19).
