June's wallpaper is up (actually it might have been up for a while). In case you haven't visited JAL wallpaper page before, they have different selection of wallpapers updated monthly. The wallpapers are divided into different categories, e.g. JALPAK, JALTOURS, JAL Travel Cafe, JAC, JEX, etc. There are top three pick of the month on the top. This month's picks are all sceneries and Japanese culture related pictures. Those are nice but my pick is somehow different.
I absolutely love this month's wallpaper from the jlife category. It shows a 767-200 parked at Hanamaki covered in slow! I actually haven't seen a close up picture of a plane covered in snow like this before (it doesn't even slow in LA LOL). But isn't it a bit weird to have this as a summer wallpaper...snow and summer just don't quite add up to me. If you don't like snow in June, I would recommend the JAC wallpaper, which is actually one of the winning entries in the 25th anniversary competition (photo competition?...sorry I can only read the Kanji part of it :P). It looks more summery.
My pick for June 2009:
JLife: 767-200 covered in snow
JAC: Q400 taking off
You can check out the complete list of wallpaper on JAL Japan website (Japanese only). One tiny complain though...how come there's no widescreen version for the JLife wallpaper? It doesn't fit my screen :(
