Starting from June 10 2009, JAL will offer freshly baked bread at the Narita lounges. There will be three types of bread available and the type will change periodically.
The freshly baked bread is provided by Maison Kayser, a famous French bakery in Tokyo. Apparently their LE FIGARO croissants have won some most popular bread awards from the local newspapers. The bread is made using the traditional French bread making technique and has a rich flavor.
Great! I am definitely going to try it out when I visit Tokyo in July. I remember seeing one of its stores close to the place I stayed last time. Maybe I can even compare the freshness of the bread at the lounge with the ones at the store. Hopefully this will make up for not so appealing meal on my ex-HKG flight (assuming they are going to have similar J class meal in July).
They probably will release the English version of the press release soon...I tried my best to translate the article using online translator and my limited Hanji knowledge.
