Update: added links to sample meal pictures
JAL has developed a special allergy-free menu with Tsuji Inc. Starting May 27, passengers can call JAL reservation to reserve for the special allergy-free menu, however 96-hour advance notice is required. Looks like Y and J class will share the same menu (if google translates it right). You can refer to JAL's special in-flight meal page for details.
Below are links to some sample meal pictures:
- Long/Medium haul flights (7 allergens free meals)
- Long/Medium haul flights (25 allergens free meals)
- Short haul flights
- Child meals

So Nice...How's the other amenities?
ReplyDeleteJAL isn't the most generous on amenities, e.g. there's no amenity kit for J passengers. Instead, they will present you a basket of amenities and let you pick what you need. While some other airlines even offer amenity kit for its Y passengers. You can refer to their site (http://www.jal.co.jp/en/inflight/inter/) for detail. But I think the quality of service is way more important than the few freebies they give out. Because of that I will always pick JAL on any day :)
