Desserts at oneworld Business Class Lounge at Los Angeles TBIT |
As promised before, this post will mainly consists of pictures of the food offerings at the oneworld Business Class Lounge at Los Angeles (LAX) Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT). I will start from the buffet area closest to the entrance which now is the dessert area. This used to be the place they put the champagne and wines. For desserts, there are 2 kinds of cookies, marshmallow, and some kind of brownie. There used to be one more item when I visited the lounge back in December 2012. I guess that got cut. You can also find plates, silverwares, and napkins here.

Next to the desserts, you can find two bowls of tortilla chips, some fresh bread and butter. Sorry I didn't pay attention to the butter but I am sure it's not the heavenly BEURRE Echiré butter Japan Airlines (JAL) uses in its First Class :P

Chicken cacciatore at oneworld Business Class Lounge at Los Angeles TBIT |
Over the years, they haven't changed the menu too much. The stir fry noodles and the beef colorado/chicken cacciatore have been on the menu since my first visit back in 2009. But that's fine for me as the chicken cacciatore is one of my favorite dishes at this lounge. Never got sick of it and every time I had to refrain myself from eating too much of this just to leave some room for food onboard. I guess this won't be a problem when I had to fly in Economy Class eventually :(
But I wasn't a fan of the macaroni and cheese at all. It was really blend and didn't look appetizing either. Noodles are ok, nothing special. Vegetables are fine but some of them are on the bitter side. Not sure if it's because of the seasoning.

Roasted garlic tomato soup at oneworld Business Class Lounge at Los Angeles TBIT |
Back in 2011, there used to be 2 soup options. But it has been reduced to only one for at least since December 2012. The same roasted garlic tomato soup has been served every time I am here. Not sure if I was "lucky" to get that every time or they never change it :P
They have done a very good job with this tomato soup. I like that they don't simply puree the tomato. The tomato in the soup added an extra texture and freshness to it. I didn't actually taste the garlic but love the basil in it. It was light and the flavor was well balanced as well. Another of my favorite at this lounge :)
I didn't take pictures of the drinks available unfortunately. Next to the soup, you could find soda machine, coffee machine, and fridge. There used to be orange juice there as well but I didn't recall seeing that during my last visit. Could be another cut back.
